Cinematic website entrances & age confirmation

A website entrance has two jobs: make the first decision clear and give the visitor a sense of the identity behind it. This MUMEI study connects a readable age confirmation to a cinematic opening without turning the decision into an obstacle.

A decision before a performance.

The confirmation uses explicit choices and a short explanation. The visual opening follows that decision; it does not obscure the controls. A returning visitor can continue within the same browser session without repeating the introduction.

One composition, in motion.

Paired images, a central seam and large rolling typography share the same choreography. The image crop, contrast and transition need to work together so the invitation remains legible throughout the movement.

A quieter way in.

Reduced-motion preferences deserve an equally considered entrance. Keyboard focus, clear labels and the ability to pause decorative motion are part of the design. Age confirmation is a visitor declaration, not identity verification.
